Vanessa Maddoux was born into a minister’s family and developed a deep commitment to Christ from an early age. Her musical journey was shaped by classic gospel sounds, early worship styles from Integrity and Maranatha worship artists of the 80s-90s and the soulful styles of artists like Andrae Crouch, Cece Winans.

In 2012, she founded Vanessa Maddoux Ministries and the missions-focused non-profit organization Good Deeds International. Her primary focus is on music missions in Japan, where she continues to spread the message of the Gospel through her musical gifts.

In 2013, Vanessa met the founders of Hand of Love, George & Suad Kawaneh, in Nazareth, Israel.
